Malia is a beautiful town, 34 km east of Heraklion and one of the oldest tourist destinations in Crete with the most attractive sandy beach in the Cretan Sea.
South of the traditional settlement of Malia town is Lasisthi Mountain, crossed by unique, beautiful paths across the surrounding area of Crete.
